What is it about?  I never compose poems. Nature, soil, water, people around me tell their own stories through my poems. I just play hide and seek with immortal words. 3. Tell us out your relationship with your parents. Invite an incident from your life where you felt deep gratitude towards your family.  My parents were talking Gods for me. I’ve never visited a temple. I always see God Almighty in them. It was full moon day of shravana. The cornfields were over flooded. Some friends forced me to accompany them to paper boats. My mother knows I don’t know how to swim. She slapped right on my face and I felt it an insult. I stayed at home and did not talk to her. Later I came to know two of my friends (who were swim expert) drowned in over flooded Baitarani river. Thank God, my mother’s slap saved my life. 4. Tell us you...

1- Tell us something about yourself. Describe yourself in three words. I am Diwakar Pokhriyal. I have completed Ph.D. in Energy Management after completing B.tech and Post Graduation in Power/Energy. I am a freak who wants to write, write and write…and then again.. Write. I have written 12 books, which are published, as of now and all set for another 12 books very soon. I have a passion towards writing and I am sure it will stick around till I am sticking around. Not just that I am a part of 80 poetry anthologies with poets around the world. 1- Tell us something about yourself. Describe yourself in three words? Well, I am going to be an engineer soon. And in last few months, my work got published too. I am moving slowly because rushing has often made me fall. I am never keen to find answers, I believe in waiting and getting a surprise. After finishing up my graduation in engineering, I pursued PGD in entrepreneurship and management from EDI and currently enrolled into PGDRD program of IGNOU. My poem is about the fact, that we as children should start taking the initiatives of mental nurturing for our parents while we grow up as an individual. They can be wrong just like we are. And we should inspire our parents and help them to pursue their suppressed dreams as well. I got the idea for it when I realized that every human is just the same entity. Our parents have a mind just like us. They have feelings, however, they hide it for the sake of us. Just as we have the right to live each moment fully, so should they. And just like our mistakes are forgiven, so should theirs. For they need not be right always. And most importantly, we can become their parents.
