Actually, Four of my poems are selected in this beautiful anthology and all  of them are different. I’ve been a  loner since my childhood and this society sees us introverts as an  salien. This has been  reflected in my poem “Handshakes and Horrors” “The Promise” is a poem I wrote when I was leaving home the first time for  my job. It discusses the promise one should keep in his/her place of  origin. “Roots” also touches the same topic and more. 3- Tell us about your Relationship with your Parents ? 1- Tell us something about yourself. Describe yourself in three words. Well, it has been a year since I have completed B.Tech in Computer Science. I got placed in Infosys but had to resign due to the medical emergency. Still recovering and trying to stand on my own feet financially as well Writing is the only passionate hobby that I have. I started writing poetry pieces back in school days. It was only during the final year of my college, my poems got printed in several anthologies. Presently I concentrate more on short stories. The first poem “A Circular Table” portraits that the relationship between children and their parents is circular in nature. My poems are about my relationship with my parents and the one and only elixir of my life my only son…..Skand .This anthology contains three of my poems. The idea of my first poem which is of my dynamic father comes from his sacrifices and service he did for his entire family. Being the eldest son of his family he worked tirelessly since he was 21 for a better future of his younger siblings and family. Not only this in age of hardcore male chauvinists he paid same respect and love for his in-laws and wife’s siblings.  These unique traits in my father compelled me to write a poem on him as a gift for his birthday. At the very inception, I would like to convey my gratitude to Sanmati Publishers for having me in their world. “Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself.” I feel that I have just initiated my voyage and would love to protract my creative edge always. What is it about? -The poems I've written for the anthology are mostly centred on the bond of a mother and her child; the element of time hovers over each of the poems, as the mother-child bond is explored through the transitions it goes through and also through comparisons of its state in the present to that in the past. I belong to Allahabad, but currently am residing in Ireland. Composing poetry is a passion for me. I love to write my emotions on a piece of papers.
