1- You are a proud contributing Author of Purple Hues-3, India's favorite Anthology. What is your story/ poem about? Is it related to your own life or someone you know?
My Story is my personal story. It’s about one year of my life which I spent in the rural corners of Odisha (India), working for the development of a rural school, under SBI Youth for India fellowship.
2- As the theme for the series is Inspiration, tell us who or what inspired you to start writing.
I inherited this habit from my father who has been writing since ages and has also been nominated for ‘Sahitya Akadami Award’ for writing novels in the Maithili language.
3- Do you think that Artists have a social responsibility? If you had all the power, what is that one thing you would like to change about our world?
Of course, artists have a social responsibility on their shoulders. If I had such power, I would have tried my best to kill the gap people have created based on religion, race, countries, creed, language, and color. The only classification according to be should be between humans and in humans.
4- What is your message for the young, budding writers?
The best way to start writing is to start writing. Critics will automatically bring the best out of you.
5- What do you think should be the next theme for Purple Hues?
The next theme can be ‘The Global Citizenship’
