1- You are a proud contributing Author of Purple Hues-3, India's favorite Anthology. What is your story/ poem about? Is it related to your own life or someone you know?
My poem is about the search of a person for his own soul, own existence, own self through the labyrinth called Maya.
The search ends with finding his fulfillment in a self-realization that he is created for the bigger purpose so he must not waste his life in vain. He finds help in Almighty.
He finds futility of his ego and accepts God as his savior. He finds the inspirational light within the self.
2- As the theme for the series is Inspiration, tell us who or what inspired you to start writing.
Almighty is my inspiration.
3- Do you think that Artists have a social responsibility? If you had all the power, what is that one thing you would like to change about our world?
Artists do have the social responsibility more than anyone else. I would add a point here each human has the social responsibility. But artists have more the reasons are:
Artist is the narrator and writer of the history of his time. He has to tell the posterity about the story of people. He can't make mistakes. He can't afford such luxury.
An artist is the torchbearer of his age. Showing light to people to go on the virtuous path.
An artist is a future. He carves a society in which future can live a better life.
He is an entertainer with a mission of correction.
If I have the mighty pen I shall tell people the story of women in transformation, love for peace love and life, way to reach God and understand His design our role in His design.
4- What is your message for the young, budding writers?
You must write young ones. As your perspective is fresh, different, unique more insightful of your time.
It will bring the fragrance of new age to literature.
5- What do you think should be the next theme for Purple Hues?
There are so many uncharted climes
Sibling love and rivalries
Forgiveness
Exodus
Various hues of marital love
Platonic love
