Purple Hues -3 An Interview with Anil Kumar Panda

1-      You are a proud contributing Author of Purple Hues-3, India's favorite Anthology. What is your story/ poem about? Is it related to your own life or someone you know?

It is all about dreaming, how dreams can change our mood. A good dream gives us positive energy and a bad one may spoil our day.

2-      As the theme for the series is Inspiration, tell us who or what inspired you to start writing.

I cannot name any single poem that has inspired me to write down my thoughts. There are many and list is getting longer day by day.

3-      Do you think that Artists have a social responsibility? If you had all the power, what is that one thing you would like to change about our world?

Artists have a lot of social responsibility in shaping the world. They should have keen eyes to the changes taking place around them and must strive hard to make the world a better place. Suffering of children gives me sleepless nights. I would love to see smile on the faces of  each and every child on this earth.

4-      What is your message for the young, budding writers?

Be simple and original. You may have a distinct style that would be loved by many.

5-      What do you think should be the next theme for Purple Hues?

I write love and romantic poems, so I would say - Teenage Romance.
