I ache for Words. I find my refuge in Stories.Writing is a form of Meditation for me.

Three Words that could describe me - Believer , Lover and a Dreamer

2- Tell us about your Poem ? How did you get the idea for it? What is it about?

" Return Home" , " Remember " and " The Woman " are the Poems I wrote for Purple Hues - A Tribute to Our Parents.

A Writer finds his Stories in everyday life and ordinary people . I have been living away from my Parents for quite a few years now. " Return Home " was a reminder call to myself that Home is elsewhere.

" Remember" has been inspired by a Child who can not find time to teach Computer to his Father. It is about the devotion and sacrifice a Parent undergoes for his child all his life.

" The Woman " is about all the Mothers who are growing old as their children walk on the threshold of Youth. It has been inspired by a Quote ;

" We are so busy Growing Up that we do not realize that our Parents are Growing Old "

3- Tell us about your Relationship with your Parents ? Share an incident from your Life where you felt deep gratitude towards your family .

My Mother is my Best Friend. My Father is my Real Hero.
I was going through a rough phase in my Life where I almost had suicidal thoughts. I realized those days that whatever we go through , our parents go through a hundred times. When I am Happy , they are filled with Joy. When I am sad , they get Depressed.

I swore to Myself that day - I am never getting Sad again , no matter what Life throws at me. I chose to be Happy because that makes my Parents happier.

4- Tell us about your journey as a Writer.

I started Writing when I was 10 years old. My Articles were published in School and College Magazines. As I grew up , I started a Blog which got featured in India's Best Blogs within a Year.

And today , I am known for what I do Best - Writing. My Short Stories and Poems have been published Worldwide.

But ...." Miles to go before I sleep ". My Journey has just begun.

5- What do you do when you are not Writing?

I Create Things. I am planning to start my own DIY Youtube Channel on Home Decor. Had I not been a Writer , I would have been an Interior Designer .

6- Who are your favorite Authors/ Writers?

Charlotte Bronte , Jane Austen , Virginia Woolf are my all time Favorites. I adore Sylvia Plath and Any Rand . My ache for Classics overpowers the desire to read current Novelists.

7- How do you see Yourself five years down the line ?What will you be working on next?

I do not make Plans. I could be Dead tomorrow. I think it's Insane yet Beautiful that we plan our lives in such detail unaware of the next moment.

8- How was experience with Sanmati Publishers?

Sanmati Publishers is not an external entity to me. I feel at Home with Pawan Jain Sir. His employees and colleagues are his Families .

9- What would be your message to our Readers?

The Only Thing that should matter is Happiness. baki sabh moh maya hai..

You can spread happiness and love only when you are filled with them.

" You can not pour from an empty cup "

10- Would you like to share few lines from your Poetry at Purple Hues-2

The Woman ,
who kept you in her womb
who shrank in pain for you
who sliced her joys for you
who embraced sleepless nights for you
who fought with the world for you
who burnt her youth for you
who wept tears for you

is growing old today
